Saying "Goodbye" to Friends

We have just finished a long, exhausting week of packing and of doing various and sundry things related to our move (that explains the lapse in posts....sorry). One of those things has been seeing some of our friends here in Greenville before we take off. It's been good to get together and say our final goodbyes. It has not been easy to do so, but we know that moving to MA is the Lord's will for us.

Farewell Fellowship at CPBC

Last night, our church (Cleveland Park Bible Church) gave us a farewell fellowship. Our last Sunday is not until February 3, but another couple in the church is moving out of town this week, so the church decided to do the fellowship for both moving couples. Johanna and I had a wonderful time of fellowship with our church family. We will definitely miss everyone.

Welcome to the "Sunny" South

Ok.....maybe the "snowy" South. Believe it or not, we got about 4 inches of snow last night. I don't recall seeing this much snow in my 7 years in Greenville. We're in for a major change when we move up to the North in 2 weeks.

Goodbye Grandma!

Grandma left last night to go back to France. Stefan really enjoyed his time with her. We all miss you, Grandma!

Stefan's Sunday

Stefan went to church yesterday for his second time. Mommy dressed him in a nice Sunday outfit.

Stefan at Grandma's and Grandpa's

Stefan made his first visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house on Saturday evening. He enjoyed being cuddled by his grandparents and uncle.

"Goodbye Papi!"

Yesterday Stefan said his goodbyes to Papi who went back to France. Grandma is still here for another week to spoil him.

Stefan's 1st Day Out!

We took Stefan out today for the first time, with the exception of his pediatrician appointments. Grandma and Papi Bixby pushed him all around Target. We all ended the afternoon by eating lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.

Stefan meets Grandma and Grandpa Hanson!

Stefan met his Grandma and Grandpa Hanson and Uncle Erik for the first time on Saturday. They were on vacation in Florida when Stefan was born and came back on Saturday. Stefan was asleep for most of the time, but he awoke right when they were about to leave.

Stefan turns one week old!

It's hard to believe that one week ago today, Stefan came into the world. It's been a busy, but fun week!
