Our Thanksgiving

We had a nice but quick trip to Vermont to Chris and Lydia's. Brian and I were introduced to Wii for the first time. As you can see we got a little into it:-) It was really fun! Stefan got to bond some more with Uncle Chris and Aunt Lydia. I didn't get a picture of the Thanksgiving spread but I did get a picture of the wonderful brunch Lydia put on for us this morning. I thought I'd take a picture of the homemade applesauce Lydia made and sent home with us! It is yummy, and we are all going to enjoy it...especially Stefan:-)

My washer and dryer!

I love my washer and dryer. This "room" is right off the kitchen (by the refrigerator). Very convenient, and because it is stacked it takes up much less space--giving me more room for storage!

Our empty house

We went by our old house today. It was kind of sad to see it completely empty:-( Everything is gone except for the piano. The piano will get moved next week. Yikes! Third floor! We'll be sure and post pictures of that coming up the stairs!

Our homeless day

Yesterday we were kicked out of our apartment for the day! When we moved in, there was a bad smell of smoke. After a couple of other tries, the management decided to do a treatment with an ozone machine. Basically the machine sucked out all the air (and hopefully the bad smell!). We had to vacate the apartment during the process and wait for it to fill back up with oxygen. Stefan and I went shopping, shopping and more shopping to fill the time. I was looking for some lamps for our house but only found one for Stefan's room. Oh well, maybe I'll find more later. The living room and bedrooms do not have overhead lights so we need lamps. Brian met us at IKEA and we had a cheap lunch there and then roamed through the store. When Brian went back to work I went to our old house to do some final cleaning while Stefan took his nap in the pack-n-play. We had a good day, but we were glad to be able to come back in our home. As to the smell, we think it is much better. We will know better after a couple of days and see if it is really gone!

Going from all wood floors to all carpet is definitely a plus for Stefan. As you can see, he likes just chillin' on the floor!

Boxes are great fun. And investigating all the cool things in the boxes is pretty fun too. He is going to be bored with toys when everything is put away, I'm afraid.

Pictureless update!

Hello Everyone!

I'm sorry for the boring blog lately. I have two excuses for the lack of updates. First of all, our computer is dying. It is very difficult to do anything on the computer right now, especially uploading pictures and things. So you'll have to wait a little for that. We already have a computer to replace it, but we need to get a monitor. Hopefully soon!
My second excuse is that we are moving. Yes, ANOTHER move! The Lord provided an apartment that is much less expensive. We are so grateful to have found something. It is a little smaller and is on the 3rd floor so it will take some getting used to! We will post pictures as soon as we move--and have a computer up and running!

Meanwhile--don't give up on the blog completely! I promise to be back at it!
