Stefan's "toy"

When she was here, Aunt Karen had given us some 3M products. Stefan took note of one of them, a lint roller, and has claimed it as his "toy." It's not the conventional toy, but it works! Thanks, Aunt Karen, for the new toy!

Our weekend

It was good to have my Aunt Karen visiting us from Texas for the weekend. It has been a long time since I've seen her, and it was Johanna's and Stefan's first time to meet her. We had a very enjoyable time with her.

On Monday Tim, Ruth, Micaiah and Miriam came to see Dad and Mom. We had a nice couple of days visiting. Tuesday we went to a park together. Stefan really enjoyed the swing!

A date!

Brian and I had our first dinner date since Stefan was born. We have had only one other date and it was brief daytime outing when Tim and Ruth were up here. Anyhow, we have been looking forward to this for awhile. Since Papi and Meme are here we took advantage of a gift certificate and enjoyed dinner at The Olive Garden. It was really nice to go out alone and apparently Stefan did fine being put to bed by someone other than his parents for the very first time. Thank you Mom and Dad for babysitting. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out.

My birthday

Yesterday was Mom's birthday. We had a birthday breakfast--dinner will be tonight. Stefan is enjoying getting to know his grandparents!
