You guys are great! That's a really cool picture of Brian reading. And what a sweet wife you are to make cookies for your reading-a-book-a-week husband :-) BTW, I love the Bixby reading incentive you all have going on. And I can testify that Brian had indeed already set the book a week goal beforehand! (Not that anyone was disbelieving Johanna, but I thought I'd throw that in for the record :-) )
Dad, I would happily concoct some cookies, but Jo's making the cookies (and me eating them) was inspiring my reading. Hence the connection between cookies and books on a Saturday morning.

Too funny! He's taking this reading thing seriously, heh?!
That is how he read a book in a day! The cookies look yummy yummy!
In my husband's defense, he was already reading a book a week before there was ever any incentive. That, he says, is icing on the cake!

Looks like a wonderful, cozy Saturday morning!!! :-)
JO, why don't you let Brian make cookies for a while?
Would you PLEASE change your blog before I have a CCC craze?
Donna, I think my book-reading portrait was intended to be the point of inspiration and selling point of the post. :-)
