It's always fun shopping with two little ones. It takes twice as long, it's unpredictable (to say the least!), people are friendlier (that is, if your children are being sweet at the time!), and it is FUN. Especially when there is a cool grocery cart like this one.
Here is my expert grocery cart driver this morning.
And his precious cargo.
In case you're wondering, Olivia rarely sleeps when we are out like this. Today, however, we had just taken an extremely long walk and the fresh air tired her plum out! She fell asleep in the car while we were driving to the grocery store so I left her in her carseat. She ended up sleeping most of time in the store and when she did wake up she was very sweet. All in all a succesful shopping trip: happy children, happy mommy, and the groceries bought!

He looks quite smug with his driving skills! Glad you had a good shopping experience! ;)
How cute! Miriam wanted to ride in one of those things at Carrefour last week. Turned into an adventure with 4 adults trying to figure it out. After we finally calculated the price plus the euros to "secure" it, we decided she could do without. How is that grandparenting for you? She took it all in stride.
Oh you have to pay? Ours are free!
Yes, I think it was 3 euros to use it and 2 euros deposit. Seemed extreme to this frugal old lady :-) (And I had even given up a 2 euros piece to begin with for the adventure!)
LOL!!!!
Hadn't heard that story, Mimi! ;) Don't worry. We never pay for them either. However Casino and Intermarché do have little kid-sized carts that they can push. So our kids do get to do that every once in a while.
