Our Little Cutie!

Goodbye SC, Hello MA!

This weekend we said goodbye to our final visible link to SC. Yes, our license plates. I know....it seems like a strange thing, but it was a little sad. Now, when I'm driving around, I have no excuse to not drive like a crazy Bostonian. And the sad thing is that no one knows where we came from. Give us some time..I'm sure we'll be true Massachus-ites in time! Oh--and last night we saw a SC car in a parking lot. Strange how we felt this automatic bond; never mind that it was an empty car, and we had no idea who it belonged to--it had SC tags!

Spring Birthdays

Today we celebrate Spring, Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday (323 years, for you history buffs), and my wonderful sister's birthday. We are appropriately commemorating all of the above. When I think of Spring, I think of Easter. Christ's resurrection, however, could not have taken place without His crucifixion which we are remembering today. Our church is commemorating this event with a Good Friday service this evening. Bach's music has been playing throughout our house all day in honor of this great composer's birthday. It is interesting to note that his St. Matthew's Passion was first performed on Good Friday in 1727. As for Donna's birthday... we are eagerly anticipating her arrival in just a few hours!

Thanks to the Johnson's from church who are loaning us a crib, Stefan graduated from the pack-n-play to the crib on Sat. night! I guess he really liked it because he slept almost 11 hours!!! Yeah!

Birthday Dinner

We celebrated Brian's birthday on Friday night. It was a nice evening of celebrating Brian's birthday, as well as spending time with Tim, Ruth and the kids. It was their last evening with us and they drove out on Sat. We enjoyed having them with us so much and will miss them . Notice Brian's birthday gift (from his wife!). He has been freezing up here in New England so he was especially happy to get this coat! Good time of year to be buying coats too---I LOVE clearance sales:-)

Birthday Breakfast

We started off Brian's birthday today with a delicious coffee cake made by Ruth. He enjoyed his breakfast this morning between UPS and going to church. We will have his birthday dinner tomorrow night when he doesn't have to go to bed so early.

Stefan's first trip to the babysitters!

We left Stefan last night with Peter and Sarah Beals (friends from church). They graciously offered to keep Stefan and his two cousins so that Tim and Ruth and Brian and I could go out together. He's growing up! I think his Mommy was more worried about it than anyone. He seems as happy as can be!

Our Church

Here is a glimpse of our new church. You can see what the church building looks like as well as Brian's abode and of course Stefan's! He has gotten to know the nursery pretty well already!

What a Big Boy!

Stefan had an appointment with the pediatrician yesterday. At two months and two days, he weighed in at 14lbs 4oz and 24 inches long. He certainly hasn't been starving!
