A Few Pictures of our Memorial Day

The best part of our day came at 3 a.m. when the alarm did NOT go off! Of course, the littlest member of the house was up by 6 a.m. but Daddy still got 3 extra hours than he normally does so that was nice! We had a nice relaxing morning at the house (with some clean up from last night's fellowship) and then we headed out for a picnic lunch with some church families. We enjoyed our time. The kids enjoyed each other--though I think Brooke enjoyed Stefan more than he enjoyed her! We even got in a little archery--Brian was good at it-I was horrible! After that picnic we headed to our Pastor's home where another large group from church had gathered. We enjoyed being over there briefly for a supper picnic! No pictures of that picnic--oops! Anyway, we had a day full of Christian fellowship and fun. It was nice and we came home all ready for a good night's sleep!

Teen Fellowship

We hosted a teen fellowship after church tonight. We had around 30 people at our house--definitely a tight squeeze! Thankfully they are teens though, so as long as there is plenty of food, they are happy:-) Ok...so Stefan isn't a teen--he was the cutest one there so he deserves to have the most pictures!

Growing Up!

Today we went grocery shopping and Stefan sat in the front of the cart for the first time! Such a big boy!

Proud of my Hubby!

Last week Brian received an official letter and a gift from Dr. Steve Hankins, Dean of the seminary at BJU, congratulating him on being the "Outstanding Master's Student in Bible and Theology." I'm very proud of him for working so hard and making such good grades in his Master of Arts in Bible degree.

A Day in Boston

We had such a fun day touring Boston with Tim, Ruth, Micaiah and Miriam. There is so much to see.
Come see us and we'll take you all too.

It's a fun city to tour--Stefan's taking one of his very few naps of the day!

My darling nephew and neice--it's been fun having them around

Sites from the day. Paul Revere's house and statue, inside USS Constitution-"Old Ironsides", and much more.

Taking a much needed lunch break.

Ladies Banquet

Last week we had a Ladies Banquet at our church. Several ladies each decorated a table and everything looked very nice. I was especially glad that Ruth could go with me and she also gave a testimony at the banquet. Here are a few pictures from the evening.

My First Mother's Day

I thoroughly enjoyed my first Mother's Day. It was very special, and my two men treated me royally. I am blessed to be the Mommy of this little bundle of joy!

Stefan meets his Uncle Dan!

Dan had a business trip scheduled for this week in a town just outside of Boston. He was able to come over last night for dinner and meet Stefan for the first time. They took to each other instantly! We enjoyed our time, and are looking forward to seeing him several more times before he heads home.

Stefan's Tastebuds Are Expanding

So far we've tried sweet potatoes and squash. As you can see, he was a little skeptical at first. But he's decided he likes them now. (How do you like the policeman bib?)
